  • Delmar and his family were our neighbors across the back yard in Bellevue, and their devotion to spreading the gospel led to Janet and I coming to Jesus in 1974. Coming from a stern Scots Presbyterian background, Delmar’s good news seemed to me too good to be true, but his winsome way and grace-filled approach got my attention. We will always feel a debt of gratitude to Del and Darlene. Thank you, Lord.

  • I remember Delmar when he served at Mission Covenant Church in Orange, Massachusetts, back in 1998 to 2000. Pastor Anderson was a strong Bible preacher. Del was so much well appreciated. My prayers are with Darlene, Susan, Mark & Steve and his sister and family

  • We extend our sympathy to Darlene, Susan, Mark and Steve. We knew Delmar way back and appreciated him so much. Look forward to being together in heaven!

  • Sorry we can not attend the service for Pastor Del. He was the pastor that we compared all of our other pastors to. He was such a good man that truly loved the Lord. See you in Heaven Del. Praying for Darlene and the rest of the family

  • Grew up a block from delmar (and Francis and Fred Anderson ). In the little (pop 160) village of Mead NE. Delmar was the oldest of the kids and always a role model for us. Good guy

  • Ironically, my wife and I prayed for Delmar and Darlene this morning. He was Sr Pastor in the first Covenant church in which I served (Newport) and brought into the folds of the Covenant Church with determination (!), perseverance, and love. I will be forever grateful to the Lord for providing him to me. Peace be to his memory,
    John D. Kepler
