New Tractors to Enhance Farming in Congo

GEMENA, CONGO (June 4, 2010) – In a country where machetes often are the only tools available to farmers, three tractors donated by the Congo government to the Covenant Church of Congo (CEUM) will greatly improve the ability of people to grow crops for themselves and even sell them at market.

CWR Assistance Provided for Victims of Attack in Sudan

Chile Churches Helping Neighbors Rebuild Lives

DICHATO, CHILE (April 23, 2010) – The high-pitched grind of a chainsaw, mixed with the rhythmic pounding of hammers driving nails, echoed through the tent walls in the refugee camp on a hillside overlooking Dichato, Chile. It is the sound of the Evangelical Covenant Church at work to help victims of the February 27 earthquake (magnitude 8.8) and tsunami, which together claimed at least 570 lives.
