Justice Summit and Reload Chicago

CHICAGO, IL (March 22, 2012) – Talks by the main speakers at the North Park Justice Summit and Reload Chicago will be webcast live later this week.

The event will run Friday and Saturday (March 23-24) and speakers will be Cornel West, Jim Wallis, Judy Peterson, Soong-Chan Rah, and Harvey Carey. Click here for the times of each webcast.

In addition to the general sessions, the event will feature numerous workshops related to presence, policy, programming, and perceptions.

University Ministries and the Center for Youth Ministry Studies are co-sponsoring the program.

Hope House Fundraising Event

GIG HARBOR, WA (March 22, 2012) – A benefit concert featuring Marco and Kacey Toctaquiza will take place this coming Sunday evening to help raise funds in support of Hope House Ministry, a Christian home for troubled or at-risk youth located in Macas, Ecuador.

The concert will begin at 5 p.m. at Harbor Covenant Church, 5601 Gustafson Drive Northwest in Gig Harbor.

The Toctaquisas, members of Harbor Covenant Church, began Hope House nearly 15 years ago. They will share insights into their ministry through special Ecuadorian music, testimonies, videos and more.
