Covenanter Hoping for Bright Future in Football

SEATTLE, WA (February 19, 2013) – Isaac Dotson, whose family attends Emerald City Bible Fellowship, signed a letter of intent to play Pac-12 football at Washington State University (WSU), where he hopes to some day start as quarterback.

His coach at Newport High School told the Seattle Times that, “In terms of leadership, he’s the best kid I’ve come in contact with in 18 years of coaching. Isaac wants a shot at quarterback at WSU, and I think he’s going to blow them away.”

Dotson, who is 6-3, and 210 pounds, has been the school’s varsity quarterback since his freshman year. He rushed for 1,047 yards last year as a senior. He also demonstrated his athletic prowess on the basketball court, and had been named by coaches to the King County 4A All-League first team.

His parents are Michael and Christi Dotson, and grandparents are Bud and Donna Jean Palmberg.
