CHICAGO, IL (August 8, 2012) – Covenanters everywhere now have the opportunity to watch a collection of 29 videos produced during CHIC 2012 that generated more than 15,000 page views from people in 31 countries.

More than 5,000 students and adults participated in the recently concluded triennial youth event produced by the Evangelical Covenant Church on the campus of the University of Tennessee. A special team from Covenant Communications provided daily news coverage – stories, photos, videos and live broadcasts – during the event.

All of the videos produced during that week have been edited and posted in a special CHIC 2012 section of the Covenant website and on CovChurch.tv. A few of those videos will remain available for a limited time – through January 2013 – due to contractual agreements with various speakers and performers. The collection of videos includes five speakers, three special feature segments, four daily highlight clips, eight living reflection videos that capture the thoughts of students about their experiences at CHIC, five daily live webcasts featuring a different guest each day, and four additional bonus videos.

Speakers include:

• Harvey Carey – preaching on the question, “Who are you searching for?”
• Bianca Juarez – preaching on the question, “Who do you say that I am?”
• Francis Chan – preaching on the question, “Do you love me?”
• Judy Peterson – preaching on the question, “Do you want to be made well?”
• Louie Giglio – preaching on the question, “Whom shall I send?”

Viewers represented the following countries: United States, Canada, Colombia, Thailand, Mexico, United Kingdom, Brazil, Japan, Sweden, Chile, Australia, Belgium, Germany, France, Guatemala, India, Taiwan, Costa Rica, Denmark, Ecuador, Ghana, Hungary, Indonesia, Jamaica, Netherlands, Nicaragua, Norway, the Philippines, Poland, Spain, and Ukraine.

Live streams during the event attracted 2,763 unique viewers from the United States, Canada, Colombia, Guatemala, Sweden, Thailand, Brazil, Slovenia, Mexico, India, Italy, the Philippines, Australia, Spain, the United Kingdom, and Poland.

It is important to note that the unique viewers statistic represents the number of individual computer connections, but are not representative of the potential audience. Feedback indicates that several individuals may be watching one projection screen as a group, as is the case when churches bring an Internet connection into a fellowship hall or gymnasium.
