  • We became friends while singing in the college choir. On tour through Upper Michigan I commented on the beauty of the woods in my part of the state. From Kansas, he commented, “What a waste. That could be planted in corn.” How differently we can see life while appreciatring God’s creative genius. Warren W. Lindstrom

  • Morland was one of the first people I met at North Park. He was a dishwasher, and I was a waitress and dish wiper. When I just began as a waitress,I spilled creamed dry beef down a guy’s back. I ran back and sat on the steps and cried. Morland came and got me, told me he had cleaned up the spill, and that I HAD to come back and finish serving that table. He was my friend for life! He was always kind and helpful.
