Covenant missionaries in France are safe following the terrorist violence that is reported to have killed more than 150 people, Al Tizon, the executive minister of Serve Globally said this evening.
“They are not, however, immune from the confusion and trauma of these senseless killings,” Tizon said. “Please pray with them and for them as they bear witness to God’s peace in a city shaken by violence.”
Tizon added, “Please also pray for the people of Paris, especially the victims and their families.”

As an airline pilot, I travel much throughout the world. Gratefully, I was not in Paris when this tragedy occured. However, I think to the countless times I have been in venues in many cities where this could have happened. It becomes very clear that my safety is a gift from God.
So, this prayer for is Stephanie and Francisco. The Creator of the entire universe knows how to care for you. I pray that you will feel His nearness and comfort, so that you may carry His love to whomever your lives touch. Bless you both for hearing God’s call, for courageously answering His call, and for lovingly serving Him with gladness. Amen.
