PHOENIX, AZ (May 19, 2016) – National Covenant Properties (NCP) will offer a daylong financial and real estate training for church leadership and staff on June 22, a day before the Covenant’s Annual Meeting begins at the Arizona Grand Resort. The seminar is free.
Topics to be covered include ministerial compensation and taxation, financial statements and reporting, aligning budget to mission priorities, fraud risk assessment and prevention, and church facilities and loans, with coaching from Real Estate Services.
Presenters will be Stan Reiff, the national director of church and denominational services with CapinCrouse, a national CPA firm that serves not-for-profit organizations, churches, and denominations; as well as Rob Hall and Rollie Persson, both vice presidents of real estate services for NCP.
NCP provides loans for new church construction and church additions. Currently NCP has more than $285 million in loans to more than 300 Covenant projects. Funds for the loans are obtained from NCP’s sale of investment certificates.
