CHICAGO, IL (August 7, 2014) — The new CHIC 2015 website is now live.
The site offers opportunities for future participants to engage with each other as well as plan for the triennial event that will be held July 12-17, 2015, on the University of Tennessee campus in Knoxville, Tennessee.
The names of artists and speakers will be rolled out on the website in coming months. Churches also can register their groups online.
The theme for the upcoming event is Shift.
The website has sections that include tools such as Parent Meeting in a Box to fundraising ideas. Students and youth ministries are invited to use #weareCHIC2015 and post snapshots of their groups on a variety of themes Youth Group Selfie, Your Town, Something You Can’t Live Without, We Rock Out to This, Best Dressed and more, said Marti Burger, director of Covenant Events.
CHIC began in 1956 when hundreds of high-school students gathered together as the Covenant High Congress. Now thousands of teens from around the world travel to Knoxville to participate.
