CHICAGO, IL (August 6, 2014) — North Park University announced it is looking to fill the positions of provost and vice president of enrollment and marketing.
The provost is the university’s chief academic officer and has broad responsibilities for undergraduate and graduate curricular student life. The provost also serves as the university’s co-chief learning officer in partnership with the vice president for student engagement.
The vice president of enrollment and marketing reports to the president and carries primary responsibility for student recruitment and admission in all academic programs—traditional undergraduate, adult undergraduate, graduate, and North Park Theological Seminary. Additionally, the position oversees the office of financial aid and leads the university’s strategy for marketing and communications.
Total student enrollment at the university is 3,200 with 1,850 full-time undergraduates. The student composition at all levels is increasingly diverse in culture. More than 25 percent of first-year undergraduates are Latino, and 63 percent of first-year undergraduates come from within 50 miles of the campus. Students in graduate programs are increasingly taking classes online.
