Early Registration Deadline Soon for Addiction Symposium

CHICAGO, IL (September 26, 2016) – Friday is the early registration deadline for North Park University’s symposium, “Journeying Together: A Faithful Response to Addiction.” The daylong event will be held in Anderson Chapel on Saturday, November 12.

The symposium will focus on how clergy, health professionals, and congregations can collaborate to respond to the challenge of addictions. It is the second biennial faith and health symposium offered by North Park Theological Seminary and North Park University School of Nursing and Health Sciences in collaboration with the School of Professional Studies.

Mark Laaser, director of Faithful & True will be the plenary speaker. He has published a dozen books on the subject, including, “Healing the Wounds of Sexual Addiction.”
