CHICAGO, IL (June 2, 2016) – Covenant Retirement Communities will sponsor the Saturday morning breakfast on July 30 at Triennial XV, Terri Cunliffe, president and chief executive officer, announced today.
This is the first time the breakfast will be sponsored. Triennial XV will be held July 28-31 in Kansas City, Missouri.
“Since 1974, women have gathered for this ministry event to renew their relationship with Jesus, to grow and learn, and to rest and rejuvenate,” Cunliffe said. “In similar ways, at CRC we have dynamic, smart, faith-filled women improving the lives of seniors and each other every day. We recognize that each one of them needs a support system, by way of family, friends, faith, professional colleagues, and events like Triennial XV, to thrive and fulfill God’s plan for them.”
The theme for this year’s event is “Quench.” Cunliffe referenced Isaiah 12:3, saying the theme “reminds us we cannot walk our paths alone and that we need to ‘drink deeply from the fountain of salvation.’”
Women from around the world attend the event sponsored by Women Ministries. Triennial XV will mark 100 years of ministry by Women Ministries of the Covenant, including initiatives such as anti-trafficking and educating girls in the DR Congo.
Registration is still open.
