GRAND MARAIS, MN (May 24, 2016) — Covenant minister Brad Shannon has been called to serve as the new camp director of Adventurous Christians (AC) Camp.
Covenant Pines Bible Camp owns and operates AC, which provides a rustic year-round wilderness experience for campers.
Brad has served as lead pastor of New Life Covenant Church in Saginaw, Minnesota, for the past 13 years. He previously served on staff at Bloomington Covenant Church and Covenant Pines. He also has served on summer staff at Bluewater Covenant Bible Camp, the Covenant Park Bible Camp board, and on the Adventurous Christians Commission.
Brooke Shannon, Brad’s wife, will serve as guest services director at AC. Her experience includes leading multiple mission trips, working as a backpack guide in Colorado, and serving as town clerk for Grand Lake, Minnesota.
Brad made news two years ago when he snowmobiled more than 1,800 miles from Twig, Minnesota, to Churchilll, Manitoba, as a fundraiser for a new church building, which was dedicated last year.
The Shannons will begin in early July.
