BATAVIA, IL (November 6, 2015) — Patricia “Pat” (Howard) Ridout, wife of Covenant pastor Gary Ridout, died October 28. She was 79.

Pat was born January 19, 1936, in Ferguson, Iowa, to Eugene and Giula Howard. She married Gary Ridout on June 26, 1954, in Whitten, Iowa. They served the Evangelical Covenant Church in Savonburg, Kansas; Bensonvale Covenant Church in Omaha, Nebraska; Hillside Covenant Church in St. Peters, Missouri; and Mission Covenant Church in Blue Island, Illinois.

She is survived by her husband, Gary, three daughters, KoKay Renken, Loleen Persson, and Kris Wedekind, eight grandchildren, and seven great-grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held at 1:30 p.m. Saturday, November 14, at the Evangelical Covenant Church in Princeton, Illinois.
