BATAVIA, IL (January 14, 2015) — Retired Covenant pastor Ralph Youngman, 84, died Tuesday.
He was born February 6, 1930, in Chicago, Illinois. He graduated from North Park College and earned a bachelor of arts degree in education and English from Nebraska State Teachers College before graduating from North Park Seminary.
Ralph married Charlotte Earldine Ottoson (“Deanie”) on May 29 1951. She survives.
Ralph served Covenant congregations in Le Roy and Tustin, Michigan; Ashtabula, Ohio; Lockport, Illinois; and Brockton/East Bridgewater, Massachusetts; Chariton, Iowa, and Centerville, Iowa;
In addition to Charlotte, Ralph is survived by a daughter, Judy; and two sons, Owen and Randy.
Visitation will be from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Saturday, January 17, 2015, at Moss Family Funeral Home, 209 S. Batavia Ave., Batavia, Illinois, followed by a memorial service at 2 p.m. in the Commons Auditorium at The Holmstad, 700 W. Fabyan Pkwy., Batavia, Illinois.
