CHICAGO, IL (December 18, 2014) — The redesigned Covlink app features a more attractive design and now allows people to receive push notifications of videos, stories, and events.
“We’re always looking to move the bar forward to connect with and inform our users in a manner which is simple and respects the right and privilege of communicating these messages without taking advantage of their trust,” said Ben Eash, director of information services.
To receive the notifications, users must give the app permission. Follow instructions on the graphic at the bottom of this article.
“The design also has been changed to follow iOS 8 standards, so the lines are cleaner and it has a flatter appearance,” Eash added. The app also has been updated to look cleaner on Android.
Through the app, users can access Covenant Newswire stories, videos from all major events, the Find-a-Church tool, website, and links to social media.
To quickly access the free CovLink app for iPhone or Android and iPad devices, visit the CovLink page on the Covenant website, which contains direct links to the apps in both the Apple Store and the Android Marketplace. Users can also download the app by visiting those store websites and searching for CovLink.
