CHICAGO, IL (August 29, 2014) — North Park University’s Center for Youth Ministry Studies (CYMS) will sponsor the webinar and panel discussion “We Are Precious in His Sight: Youth Ministry, the Gospel and the Continuing Significance of Race in America” on Tuesday, September 2, at 2 p.m. CDT. This interactive conversation will explore reactions to the events in Ferguson, Missouri, and the implications for the church.
The scheduled panelists include Phil Jackson, Kathy Khang, Anthony Nocella II, Michael Novelli, Soong-Chan Rah, Efrem Smith, Romal Tune, Sandra Van Opstal, Liz VerHage, and Amy Williams. The webinar will be moderated by CYMS director Daniel White Hodge.
