MINNEAPOLIS, MN (June 26, 2014) – Retired Covenant minister Gary Willard Downing, 67, died Wednesday.

A memorial service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Saturday at Trinity Lutheran Church of Minnehaha Falls. Visitation will be an hour prior.

Congregations he served included Rochester Covenant Church in Rochester, Minnesota, and Faith Covenant Church in Burnsville, Minnesota.

Survivors include his wife of 43 years, Katherine; daughters Tanya Larson and Rachael Jarman; and sons, Nathanael and Jonathan.
