CHICAGO, IL (February 13, 2013) – Early registration for Triennial XIV has been extended to March 20.

The event, sponsored by the Evangelical Covenant Church Department of Women Ministries, will be held August 15-18 at the Town and Country Resort and Conference Center in San Diego, California.

Early registration is $325. Regular registration is $359, and will run March 21-July 15. Late registration will be $389.

“This will give women a chance to pull groups together and to register together,” says Meagan Gillan, Women Ministries executive minister.

The theme for this year’s event is ROOTED. “It will be a great one to challenge women to go deeper in their relationship with Jesus Christ – going down deep so they can grow strong and bear fruit for God’s kingdom,” says Gillan.

Keynote speakers include Kanyere Eaton, pastor of Fellowship Covenant Church in Bronx, New York; Judy Peterson, campus pastor at North Park University; Renee Stearns, an international human rights advocate; and Bianca Juarez, a writer and speaker who is the chief storyteller for the A21 Campaign, an anti-trafficking organization.

Eaton inspired the gathering of more than 1,200 Covenant ministers and spouses at the Midwinter Conference held at the same resort last week. To view her sermon, click here. Triennial IV also will feature workshops that include “Generational Disconnect—Bridging the Gap,” “Inhabiting The Call To Mentorship,” and “Am I my Sister’s Keeper.”

“A great team has worked diligently to put together workshops, tours, worship, and other delightful experiences that will combine to strengthen women for their journey,” says Gillan “We all need the encouragement we get from being together as women of the Covenant, and we experience that in a very special way at Triennial.”

Gillan says she is even more excited about the event after hearing the laudatory feedback from attendees and volunteers at the Midwinter.
