CHICAGO, IL (June 23, 2011) – Preparations are nearing completion for the Feast celebration that begins with the opening worship service Saturday evening at the YMCA of the Rockies in Estes Park, Colorado.

Worship services during the event will be broadcast live over the Evangelical Covenant Church website, a “first” for this triennial Feast event. Other major Covenant events like Annual Meeting and the Midwinter Conference have been live broadcast for many years.

The opening worship service will begin at 8 p.m. (CDT) with Jeff Mazzariello bringing the evening message. Subsequent broadcasts (all listed times are Central Daylight Time) will include:

• Sunday, June 26 – 12 p.m., featuring Lauren Walter
• Sunday, June 26 – 8 p.m., featuring Eugene Cho
• Monday, June 27 – 12 p.m., featuring Wilson Herrera
• Monday, June 27 – 8 p.m., featuring Camille Russell Wooden
• Tuesday, June 28 – 10:30 a.m., featuring Peter Sung

The Feast officially concludes with the Tuesday morning gathering. At 8 p.m. Tuesday evening in the same YMCA facility auditorium, the 126th Annual Meeting of the Evangelical Covenant Church gets under way with the opening worship service, with Ruth Hill bringing the evening message.

The Annual Meeting continues through Thursday, June 30, with the traditional ordination worship service officially concluding that event. All worship services during Annual Meeting will be live broadcast over the Covenant website.
