  • The passing of Willie ends for me a wonderful relationship that fueled many fruitful discussions over the past four-plus decades on a range of personal and spiritual topics that will continue to inform my own journey for years to come. I had the privilege of working with him in securing the land on which the “new” Oakdale church was “planted” on Vincennes Ave. many years ago now and rejoice that he was able to see the wonder of God’s provision for the growing ministry ever since. Peace and thanksgiving to his memory and monumental gift of his strong and grace=filled life in the Covenant Church.
