Observing Ramadan in Jerusalem

The question of whether this person might mean to do harm will often pop up almost immediately in the minds of non-Muslims who see this man or others like him. Such thoughts are acts of violence, whether intended or not.

Andrew Larsen is a Covenant minister who also serves as a consultant in Christian-Muslim Relations with the group Peace Catalyst International. He has a special interest in the Mideast, where he tries to capture the conditions of Palestinians living in the West Bank and is planning to make a documentary in the region. The award-winning photographer’s work has appeared in National Geographic.
